USL partners with DOST-TAPI under DATBED Program

The Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) awarded the Certificate of Accreditation to the University of Saint Louis (USL) as partner institution of DOST-Academe Technology-Based Enterprise Development (DATBED) Program last Aug. 29, 2019 at Robinsons Place, Tuguegarao City during the celebration of the Regional Science and Technology Week 2019.

The award was received by Dr. Marie Jean N. Mendezabal, director of the University Research and Development Center (URDC).

USL is now eligible to submit through DOST II, project proposals on enterprise development for commercialization of an innovative technology that has not been tested in the market for possible funding assistance under TAPI’s DATBED program.

The DATBED Program develops entrepreneurial competencies among students, young professionals including out-of-school youth in selected academic institutions and non-governmental organizations while at the same time creating income generating projects for the involved institutions.

This accreditation shall be valid for three (3) years subject to annual performance review by TAPI.
