“Be different; everyone is unique in a good way,” a student noted as having learned from one of the speakers.
Alumni speakers in the September-October editions of the activity were: Ms. Riza Lyn Callueng of the Local Government Unit of Iguig, Cagayan; Mr. Jesus Gonzales of the Social Security System; and Ms. Hanah Lou Tumaliuan of an insurance company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, Mr. Dwayne Daguro, Ms. Sheila Manibog, and Mr. Mark Paguirigran, all connected with private firms, were the speakers last second semester of last school year when the program kicked off.
“Pay it forward,” is an expression that means one does not need to pay directly the person indebted to for a favour received but has to do acts of kindness to others instead.
The program series invites business graduates to freely give their services to the BA students and faculty through talks, seminars, and training.
Ms. Mary Ann C. Bartolome, BA program chair, the BA faculty, Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (JFINEX)-USL, and the USL Junior Marketing Association (JMA) are the main organizers of the program.
