Nine higher education programs of the University received accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), bringing the total number of PAASCU-accredited programs of the University to 22.
Reaccreditation Status was awarded to the Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering programs with validity from May 2020 until May 2025.
To pursue the renewal of the Level IV Accreditation Status of seven of its curricular programs, Civil Engineering included, the University is to submit to PAASCU the required application documents.
The six programs earlier earning Reaccreditation Status and also subject for renewal of their Level IV Accreditation Status are: Accountancy, Business Administration, Psychology, Political Science with Legal Studies, Elementary Teacher Education, and Secondary Teacher Education.
Meanwhile, the Electrical Engineering program, being given two consecutive times of Level III accreditation already, is eligible to apply for Level IV accreditation.
In addition to the feats of the engineering programs, the Computer Engineering program recently garnered Level I Accreditation.
PAASCU visit to said engineering programs was on March 2-3, 2020.
As well as the Computer Engineering program, six programs in the Graduate School, namely: Doctor of Education, Master of Arts in Education, Doctor in Public Administration, Master in Public Administration, Doctor in Business Management, and Master in Business Administration merited Level I Accreditation.
PAASCU visit to the Graduate School programs was on March 7-8, 2020.
The Level I Accreditation status is valid from May 2020 until May 2023.
To ensure quality in its different curricular programs from basic to higher education, the University subjects itself to program and/or institutional accreditation.
