The Center is responsible in the promotion of the conduct of scientific and technological research to generate knowledge applied to solving priority health problems with a local and national and scope. Studies shall focus on the integration of basic, clinical and public health research, to provide for scientific, innovative and competitive development in the region and the country at large.
