USL becomes 104th member of B&R UAS

In her recent visit to Hangzhou China, the University of Saint Louis, Tuguegarao City, Philippines, signed an agreement last January 8, 2020 to join the Belt and Road Universities Alliance for Standardization and Academics (B&R UAS or UAS for short).

Signing the Membership Agreement was Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta Ana, CICM, University president, witnessed by the VP for Academics, Dr. Emmanuel James P. Pattaguan.

UAS focuses on academics for standardization and higher education standardization. Its objectives include the strengthening of academic collaboration for standardization and the promotion of higher education for standardization towards furtherance of the same even forward.

Moreover, UAS’ main activities include hosting of alliance fora for its members, deployment of exchange students and faculty, and raising of funds for publication of textbooks, issuance of academic papers, and research publications.

In a simple ceremony, the officials of China Jiliang University, the host university of the alliance, welcomed USL to the organization, to which USL said will gladly support the activities of the alliance.
