USL discusses with University of Ulsan for future partnerships

In furtherance of its vision of globalization, the University of Saint Louis, through Father President Renillo H. Sta Ana, CICM and the Vice-President for Academics, Dr. Emmanuel James P. Pattaguan, visited the University of Ulsan (UOU) in South Korea last March 29-31, 2019 for a discussion of a possible collaboration.

Fr. Sta. Ana and Dr. Pattaguan met with the officials of UOU’s International Cooperation Office for the discussion on different areas of cooperation which include: 1) faculty exchange, 2) student exchange, 3) exchange of academic materials, 4) hosting of cultural visits, 5) hosting of seminars and workshops, among others.

The very cordial meeting ended with the possibility of inking a Memorandum of Agreement by the University of Saint Louis (USL) and the UOU in the near future.

After the meeting, lunch was served in a traditional Korean restaurant, where the officials had a hearty meal and further discussion of future plans.

To invigorate the itinerary for the visit of the USL administrators, UOU arranged a company tour of its partner, Hyundai, where it sends its on-the-job trainees.
