Time flies, and we’re already halfway through the current school year. As such, the USL management body gathered together for the mid-year accomplishment reporting and team building held on January 29-31, 2023, at Santa Ana, Cagayan.
The three-day convention provided the management team with an opportunity to review and assess USL’s performance in the first half of the school year and strategize goals for the future.
Examining the current state of the university, the management mainly discussed the status of program implementation in USL’s key strategic areas among its different units grouped into five clusters: finance, administration, academics, mission and identity, and the president’s cluster.
The discussion underlined USL’s thrust towards internationalization, continuous quality improvement, and excellence in teaching and learning, in which it saw concerted initiatives in the first half of the school year through the ISO certification and its continuous compliance, PAASCU accreditation, international partnerships and linkages, and development programs for students and faculty.
They also discussed the university’s accomplishments and goals in the areas of financial sustainability, community engagement, Christian formation, student empowerment, campus excellence, and research, innovation, and creativity, among others.
In addition to a lively discussion, they also took time out for some team-building activities, fostering a spirit of unity and positivity while strengthening group collaboration and cooperation.
The gathering session was attended by members of the Top Management, members of the Extended Advisory Board, and first and middle level managers of the University of Saint Louis.
