Tuguegarao City — Twenty-one (21) University of Saint Louis (USL) graduates all passed the September 2016 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination.
Newly Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Richard F. Languido, former president of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers Council of Student Chapters (IIEE-CSC) USL school year 2015-2016, expressed his delight in an interview.
“For three consecutive years, USL garnered 100% passing rate in the EE licensure exam. This simply shows the high quality of the Electrical Engineering program offered in USL.”
Engr. Languido also said that their focused review, fervent prayers (with their devotion to their nine-consecutive-week novena at St. Jude Thaddeus Shrine in Mendiola, San Miguel, Manila), and the strong support system of their group proved fruitful.
The former president of IIEE-CSC USL expressed pride for the 100% passing rate of USL, “Mas okay ang 100% na passing rate at bonus na lang ang topnotcher. (It’s better having 100% passing rate; having a topnotcher is a bonus.)”
The EE licensure examination given by the PRC Board of Electrical Engineering was held last Sept. 2-4, 2016 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Lucena City. A total of 2,817 examinees nationwide passed the exam.
